Our History
CCS Project Management delivers a full range of project and development management services, from initial project feasibility review to final occupancy. Prior to establishing the firm, Principal and Owner Colleen Scott gained more than 18 years of technical project experience on award-winning development and construction projects.
While managing these projects, Colleen saw a growing need for owners’ representation for oversight, management, and coordination of construction and real estate development projects. With her strong experience, respected reputation, and vast network, Colleen established CCS Project Management in 2010.
CCS founding principal and owner, Colleen Scott, has a proven record of successful project delivery. She is an energetic team leader able to troubleshoot, problem solve, and motivate team members.
Throughout her career, Ms. Scott has been involved in the development and construction of more than six million square feet of residential, commercial, retail, and mixed-use properties. Projects managed by Colleen have received dozens of industry craftsmanship, design and real estate awards.
Prior to establishing CCS, Ms. Scott spent five years at J Street Development, where she was appointed Vice President in 2009.
At J Street, Ms. Scott specialized in construction administration and managed the entire spectrum of the process, from loan draw preparation and pro forma review to purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent and lease reviews, change order reviews and construction document review – on time and within budget.
Before joining J Street, Colleen spent 11 years at Cafritz Company, eventually leading their Project Management Department. Both Cafritz and J Street remain clients to this day as a testament to our superior services. Colleen is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW DC), the DC Building Industry Association (DCBIA) and the NAIOP.
She is a graduate of the Pratt Institute, where she earned her degree in Architecture.
Coming from the nonprofit world, Tracy is keenly aware of cost constraints for our clients. She works to ensure that clients receive the highest quality of service while staying within budget and on schedule.
Tracy is goal-oriented, and solution focused. She has worked on everything from initial tenant build-outs, to historic renovations and repairs, to LEED Gold CI certified projects, and is a member of the D.C. Building Industry Association (DCBIA).
